| Quick Chocolate Cake With Toffee Chips |
Ingredients:
- 1 angel food cake mix
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Frosting:
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2/3 cup toffee chips
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
Directions:
1. Bake cake according to package directions adding cocoa and almond extract. Cool completely.
2. Beat whipping cream in small bowl at high speed, until soft peaks form. Continue beating, gradually adding powdered sugar, until stiff peaks form. Gently stir in 1/2 cup toffee chips and 1 teaspoon almond extract.
3. Spread top and sides of cake with frosting. Sprinkle top with remaining toffee chips. Store refrigerated.
