| Upside-Down Cake With Plums |
Ingredients:
- 4-6 plums, sliced
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla paste
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 165°C. Butter the baking pan, and coat the bottom of cake pan with the melted butter.
2. Arrange plum slices.
3. Place remaining ingredients into processor and blend for 30-60 seconds.
4. Spoon batter evenly over plums. Bake for 35 minutes. Leave in pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto serving plate.
