| Twix Candy Bar Recipe |
Ingredients:
For the biscuit:
- 227 g unsalted butter (2 sticks)
- 85 g powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 250 g all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 350 g soft caramels
- 2 tablespoons milk or cream
- pinch of salt
Chocolate topping:
- 240 g milk chocolate, cut into pieces
1. Preheat the oven to 150 C (300 F) and place rack in center of oven. With an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and beat until combined. Beat in the vanilla extract. Add the flour and salt. Bake for 20-30 minutes
2. Place your caramels, milk and salt in a microwaveable bowl and nuke for 1 minute, stopping to stir, until nice and melty.
3. Pour caramel over the baked cookie. Once the caramel has set, cut into size pieces you desire. For best results, chill them in the freezer to firm up.
4. Dip the bars in the tempered chocolate and place on waxed or parchment paper to set. For the best results store in the fridge.
