| Easy Chocolate Cake |
Ingredients:
- 175 g butter
- 175 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 140 g flour
- 85 g ground almonds
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 100 ml milk
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 50 g chocolate chips
- few extra chunks white, plain and milk chocolate for decorating
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 160C/140F. Grease and line a 900g/2lb loaf tin with parchment paper.
2. Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, flour, almonds, baking powder, milk and cocoa. Stir in the chocolate chips, then scrape into the tin.
3. Bake for 45 minutes until golden.
4. Cool in the tin, lift out onto a wire rack. Melt the extra chocolate chunks separately in pans over simmering water, then use spoon to drizzle each in turn over the cake.
